Ave. 108 Engine arrived and confirmed there was smoke inside. 108
Truck went to the rear of the building and laddered the roof. 108
Crews checked the HVAC units on the roof while 108 and 249 crews
investigated inside. About 10 minutes later interior crews discovered
a small ventilation fan in the basement that was burning. Crews cut
power to the fan and checked for extension. All units were on scene
for a while the structure was vented. All crews cleared the scene an
hour later. Assistant Chief Dailey was the incident commander.
